• So very disappointed!!! I called before I picked my dog up and asked if he already had a bath. (He was there over a week so it was complementary). She said "oh we are really busy so he may not be dry because he was just towel dried. That was puzzling.
I then asked why they didn't use a blow-dryer, she said if I was paying for the bath they would use the blowers, but since it was complementary it wasn't guaranteed. If they had told me that I would have paid to have a bath like I had done before, I never was I informed that he would not be given a proper bath and blow-dry.
When I arrived they told me that my dog would not go out for play time. .I have a timid dog, and he needs some coaxing. According to my receipt the days they didn't take him out was Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s. When I emailed the manager this was her email response "On the days in which the clinic is closed, it was all the staff could do to get all the pets outside in a timely manner. If time does not permit to finish all tasks, this is one service that has to be skipped. "
When I was ready to go I asked for the bed I left. They responded "he had an accident." I asked when, they said "we don't know". THEN they kindly offered me the opportunity to take the wet bed home and wash it "because they didn't have time to launder it" The manager told me I could pick it up Monday. I just picked it up. They told me they laundered it. I was soiled and in a misshaped ball.
My cat Marbles loves staying with the folks at Grafton Animal Hospital. And what's more, they enjoy having him. He has also gotten great care treatment for the trials and tribulations of being an outdoor cat when he was younger. It's a great place - check it out.
Hands down, the best. From researching hours on medications best for our pets, to rushing to save our animals from asthma attacks, Grafton Animal hospital always puts our pets first. When we first found out our cat had asthma, the doctors researched for days to find the best medicine for our cat. They have been with us and our 8 cats, and dog for as long as we can remember. Not only do they have an amazingly clean hospital, they are welcoming, friendly, and understanding with any given problem. They always listen, and truly care about our pets health. Grafton Vet has the best Santa Claus for our Christmas pictures, as well as surgeons to operate on our pets. There is no other vet in town we would trust.
My dogs stayed at Grafton Animal Hospital over a busy holiday weekend after I could not get into my regular kennel. The staff took the time to call my regular vet and get all of my pets' vaccine history and even gave them a free bath because they had stayed 5 nights. I will certainly take my dogs back the next time I need to go out of town.

Just when having a puppy was reminiscent of being a new mother.. joy.....sleep deprivation...handling body fluids...feeding...uncertainty...etc..
