I volunteer as a foster mom with a toy breed rescue group and over the past year I have taken 6 Shih Tzus and mixed fluffy breed dogs who were in my foster care to Michael for grooming. Because it's rescue, the dogs are usually in pretty bad condition and usually scared to death but Michael is patient and kind to each of them and they leave the shop looking great and never traumatized. For some of these dogs, this is their first grooming and Michael makes it a pleasant experience for them.

Michael was attentive and intuitive with my Shih Tzu, who (because he had been rescued from an abusive and neglectful original owner) was very nervous about being separated from me for the grooming process.

Mike takes one dog at a time - there are no dogs waiting in cages or crates.

We discussed hair length, and he did exactly what we'd agreed upon.

Mike spent an hour with my dog and charged a very low fee (in my opinion) for the quality of wok & time he spent.
