review response

We would like to respond to both negative reviews.
“That Guy” – Rented a house with 3 others, we had continual complaints from neighbors of filthy conditions and disruptive behavior. The bill sent to them was for damages they caused. They did not appear in court for the unlawful detainer and were evicted. We were not served any court papers from them. The sewer line that was damaged was repaired by a reputable plumber immediately upon being reported and the tenants refused us to enter when they set up appointments to make repairs once we started the court process. The house was not condemned and we have a satisfactory inspection from the City of Virginia Beach.

“USNAngel2001” – We tried to satisfy their complaints on numerous occasions, however we were unable to do so (as noted and satisfactorily resolved with the BBB) it was agreed to let them move out. We have several interested parties to rent this property since their move out May 1.

its right in the name DICK

i rented from these fools and every thing was good until i needed some work done and their maint guys came in to fix the toilet that was falling thru the floor and they told me to wait for it to fall thru then they would fix it shortly after they left we realized that a few hundred bucks had gone missing and of course they denied ever seeing the money that many my dog had ate it. next a sewer pipe had been leaking into the crawl space for what seems to have been a while and i called they came and said its no big deal just leave it... i had an air quality check done and the results showed that the house was filled with black mold as well as a plethora of other harmful toxins such as asbestos and lead paint and after that they seemed to lose the money orders 3 ppl saw me drop into their drop box and charged me a $1250 late fee and said i had 30 days to leave so i had the city condemn the house. after all that dick kelly himself sent me a near $10,000 bill for the sewer line and said i broke it and its all my fault i said see you in court which he never showed up for. these clowns are the definition of scumbag

Home are not in move in condition

The worst homes ever. This property management company does NOTHING for you. You complain but all they say is "Let me talk to the owners and I will call you back." Which they rarely, rarely call back. And if the owners say they will not repair or reimburse you then that is just it. We are military and moved from California so we were at a disadvantage and signed a lease with only viewing pictures and stats on the home. I have learned my lesson. Even with school aged small children and pets I will choose to live in a overpriced hotel and view the homes first. It took over 2 weeks to actually move into this "house", if that is what you would call it. We were the first renters here so we moved in after the owners moved out. IT WAS A MESS. There was trash left everywhere. It was disgusting. There are 3 different colors of paint in the living room alone. NONE of the carpet is tacked down and there is paint along the edges of the carpet where they repainted the floor boards. You could roll up the carpet and walk off with it if the owners did not put a huge pile of glue in the middle of the floor. They left the tack strips so my children could step on them I suppose. The padding under the carpet is in pieces because the carpet was never installed properly. The electrical outlets are sticking out from the wall because they were impoperly installed (by the owners). There are holes and black sharpie dots on the walls. The are no closet in the bedrooms like you would assume. Its like they went out and bought $5 wire shelves from walmart and screwed them in. So if you think you can hang clothes for even one person you are terribly mistaken. My husband and I have our clothes folded and along the walls of the "master bedroom". The window in the garage was and still is broke. The owners did a "do it yourself" garage door install and it took the profession half the day to take it apart and re-install it. Only 3 of the air vents in this house were secured. All of the others were located on the floor and you could just pick them up and the holes were so big that my daughter can fall into them and hurt herself. She can't fall all the way but far enough to break a leg. And there are mosre issues than this. And after living in a hotel for a week and having to wait another week living in the living room while the property management company and the owners to fix at least the up stairs carpet so we can move in we get a ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR RENT CREDIT ON OUR 1350 A MONTH RENT. Give me a break. That is a load of c@!p. I WILL BE TALKING TO A LAWYER!!! I have lived in many trailer parks and c@!%!y places in my times but this takes the cake. This is the worst place ever. DO NOT live in 3562 Sharpley Ave, Norfolk, VA. YOU will regret it and it is not worth the $1350 in rent. Why even deal with this property management company when they do not actually manage the property. The owners do they are just the middle men.
