Derek created a beautiful, strong composite platform deck for our first house back in 2006. This summer we decided to add on to our existing deck (now covered by a screen-room) and I immediately remembered Derek's work from 7 years ago! He is professional, extremely personable, FAIR, FAST and thorough! Both times Derek took the time to discuss many potential scenarios/options with me before we decided on a final plan. His prices are ridiculous compared to larger companies and he stuck to his estimate both times, even after having to add 3 sets of separate stairs leading down to the yard...

i want to reply to chuck h. this guy went on vacation must have went to vegas , when he came back he knit picked about every thing he could find, i came back 3 times to make him happy ,after everything was done to his standards he said the deck wasnt square , i gave him an earful,he never paid which is awful on his part ,but to go to multiple sites 6 years later is the lowest , im a hard worker then and now ,when a customer buys the material he keeps material if i buy material i keep material i guess he dosent understand that,i build a great deck then and now ,have him post pics, the deck...

Back in 2006 we had just put a hot tub in behind the house and wanted a deck to go around it to attach to our house and our existing deck.

Derek came out talked the talk about decks and had a nice book showing the decks he had done. He provided us with a quote of $6500 we reviewed the other quotes and chose Derek.

We gave him several thousand for lumber and supplies. A few days later the lumber was delivered at our house.

2 days after Derek came out to lay out where the deck was to go.

(thus far no problem)

5 days after accepting his bid and providing start up funds Derek...
