Dr Johnson is a remarkably friendly and competent surgeon. I have known him since his residency at MUSC and he has conducted three surgeries on me, all with excellent results and rapid healing. He has always been prompt and efficient with his time, his staff is friendly, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Dr. Coles performed a total knee replacement for me on January 7, 2019. My leg is now straight and 6 weeks out I am returning to work. I am walking with no pain and can climb stairs easily. He took time to answer questions with each visit and spent time explaining the procedure and what I could expect after surgery. Dr. Coles did a partial knee replacement for me in 2013. I have been pain free since a testament to the skill of Dr Coles. In 2015 Dr Coles replaced my total shoulder. My results were remarkable and I have been pain free since the surgery. If I need surgery again I would not hesitate to ask for Dr Coles. I found him to be informative, caring and an exceptional surgeon.
