Great place to eat local fresh fish. Staff is very polite and professional. I also ate the best ribs in my life. When we have a farewell at work, Darrell's is the right place to go for lunch and say goodbye with a nice lunch.

We stopped here for a late lunch on our way out of the outer banks. The waitress was friendly, the food was good, and it came out pretty quick. We tried: popcorn shrimp, fried chicken, she crab soup, crab balls, and the fried seafood platter. All was good. Crab balls and she crab soup wasn't the best I've ever had...

I'm still in the restaurant writing this review because I can't wait to get out of here. We ordered potato skins for an appetizer. Came out burnt and dry. The three of us ordered ribs..which ended up being riblets..meat was tender, but sauce horrible, no flavor. Tastes like ketchup. Grilled shrimp came out cold, again, no flavor at all. The...
