Do all white customers get treated poorly by Daffy's staff comprised mostly of black women? I observed exactly that just a few minutes ago at the Daffy's on Broadway! At first I thought it was just the rudeness of one or two floor associates that I had asked for help, but then when I got to the counter and saw the laziest heavy black women ring up my merchandise ever so slowly and the piss poor attitude and sour puss on her face was glaringly unsettleing. I stood back and observed the next customer who happened to be black get much better treatment from the cashier than I did.

As a long-time Daffy's shopper, I must compliment the staff and management at this paticular Daffy's location. The service is always friendly and I never leave empty handed!In response to spoiledbrat's review, if it were such an awful place to work, why would I see the same friendly faces year after year?? I remember the store manager(an excellent business woman) from the Fifth Avenue & 18th St. location(which has by the way, recently re-opened) as well as the ""lazy"" supervisor she mentioned(really not so lazy- a very talented merchant who can work magic with a rolling-rack of new...

I work at this particular Daffy's I must say as an employee that the customer service is average but the managment is the worst. The store manager (Haydee Johnson) Is friends with one of the supervisors in the lady's department. vThis particular supervisor (Carline) Is lazy, she dosnt do any work and all she does is shop. She expects for the associates to complete tasks that the store manager assigns to her. When the employess complain about the supervisor and her work tactics, she brushes them off. Also the managers divide working hours based on favoritism. Me as well as my co-workers are...
