Cuba Restaurant Review

The unassuming façade of this Greenwich Village restaurant belies the movable feast that takes place on the inside nightly. Live music (Fridays and Saturdays) inspires impromptu foot shuffles and sing-alongs from the friendly waitstaff, while diners dig into classic Cuban fare. Brick walls boast striking photographs of the country for which this eatery is named. Chef Marco Garcia works from a...

Everyone's "Havana great time" at this "high-energy" Village supplier of "authentic" Cuban standards and "heavenly" mojitos "charmingly" served in "funky" Latin digs; live bands, "relatively affordable" tabs and a "cigar-rolling man" lend a "vacation" vibe to the proceedings.

This West Village restaurant was serving mojitos and plantains long before Socialista turned Cuban food into props for supermodels.

We came for the Valentine's day pre-fixe. The food was mediocre at best and it was LOUD. Not great for the value.

Food is good, not great. Live music, and incredibly loud. Not ideal for a dinner date where conversation is desired. Staff is fantastic.

Our waiter and all the staff were extremely attentive. The drinks were amazing (Mojitos, the "Old Cuban") and the food fantastic! We started with an assortment of empanadas (the real deal) and the chorizo are particularly...

We showed up on time for the reservation we had for 5 people but still had to wait 30-45 minutes for a table - normally it would've been tolerable but the space was so small we were in the way of the staff the entire time. The bar only seats about 4 people so that wasn't an option. Once seated it was fine. The drinks we ordered were good and the food was alright - I've had better Cuban food at...

The food and music here were great. The service was abysmal, especially the arrogant disrespectful hostess who either deliberately lied to my wife and I or was given misinformation by her superiors. Either way it was not what i wanted to deal with on a night out.
