The host who was also the Manager was extremely rude to me during check-in. He was not done talking to me and started checking in another couple. Then was rude to another couple who was late to their reservation. In addition, no valet parking on Valentine's Day. Really?! Service was slow and did not match the cost. Food was too salty.
I had to wait 20 mins even though I had a reservation. They crammed everyone into a room (V-Day crowd). The waiters didn't know the table numbers: "is this your meal?", "nope" interrupting your conversation. My entree came before the appetizers. My 35 dollar steak was cooked on a dirty grill or griddle so it tasted like well salted char. Just Awful.
Cuba Libre has a nice atmosphere, designed to feel like you are dining outside a Cuban villa. During most visits, the restaurant has been quiet enough to easily have business discussions. The ropa vieja is consistently good. I have ordered the pineapple guacamole multiple times, and been disappointed each time as it lacks flavor. It was our 42nd wedding anniversary and we decided to go to Cuba libre for dinner , we had not been there in the past , we enjoyed ourselves and the food was great , check the Black Bean Soup it was delicious
Oh my gosh they deserve more than your typical 5 star rating this place is amazing!!! Daniel, our server, was just so awesome. On point in every aspect!! Certainly ask for him if he is available.
