"Lip-smacking" rotisserie chicken "falls off the bone" at these Peruvian counter joints where fried yuca and other "tasty" sides "complete the feast" – still, their real "secret" is a dipping sauce so addictive some wonder if they "mix crack in"; bar cooking at home, it may be one of the "cheapest ways to feed a family", but "nonexistent" service and decor leave some squawking "takeout preferred."

Having visited the Arlington Crisp and Juicy for carryout at least once a year for years, I wanted to try this location for a quiet sit down meal with Washington Post in hand. I tried the chicken and it was delicious. Not sure why they call it crisp n' juicy, mine wasn't crisp (more like roasted) but it was sure juicy. I ordered plantains and yucca with it; both were generous in size and served with two interesting sauces which I enjoyed. Looking forward to going back.

Dirty funky place, george should be ashamed of allowing his name crispy &juicy to be associated with this dump. The workers have no clue how to treat people and for the most part are rude also the door was propped open with a folded up magazine and no ac in the middle of summer, not a good dinning experience , but in his be half the arlington location is great place to eat clean and well...
