Even on a busy night(Cinco de Mayo) we received excellent service, good recommendations, and top quality food. From scallops in chili paste to tuna tacos, everything we tried was well seasoned and prepared. Don't forget the chocolate bondage, a fab dessert! Fun place for a crowd too.
I liked the atmosphere of the restaurant but I felt as though many may have been swept away by the atmosphere alone. Really cool, but the fare was only adequate. The staff was nice however, not a server with an attitude any where to be found. The price was a little steep for what we got on our plates. Fun place to go to for a change of pace and scenery.
Anyone writing a bad review is just trying to make sure they get in the door without a wait. I've been going to Coyote since before there Laskin Rd. address and food and service has always been top notch. I just hope I do not jinx myself getting in the door hassle free with these comments.

Coyote Cafe has recently undergone renovations, and the new decor is very well done. Unfortunately, the food should have been redone as well. Some things are always fairly good, such as the salmon. Other thing need help, such as the chicken lasagna, which arrived cold...
Love their food-unique combinations, lively decor, and moderately priced. It defintely has a local appeal with full flavor.
Coyote Cafe & Cantina has seen better days. You can still get a good meal here but the service just doesn't live up to what it used to be.
