I have been staying at this hotel monthly for almost three years. The staff here are always so nice and know most all guests. The customer service is the only reason I stay here! This hotel needs renovations. Today was the last draw when the Ac was noisy all night and smelled like something died. Moving rooms didn't help either....

We have made several trips to Lynchburg recently to visit family. I am a Marriott fan so on our last trip we tried the Courtyard by Marriott in Lynchburg. The hotel has had conceptual updates and some are hits and some are misses. The lobby/lounge/restaurant probably now serves guests better. It is well appointed with big screen tvs and comfortable...

We stayed over the Christmas holiday while visiting friends. The staff was very pleasant. The hotel was clean. There was limited maid service on Christmas Day but the was announced ahead of time. Just completed my second stay at this hotel, the first being almost two years ago in April 2012. The first time I was a guest here I thought the hotel was nice but a little overpriced. This trip I learned to appreciate how convenient it is to Liberty University. It's only a few minutes off-campus, also very close to Wards...

I am a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member and have stayed at my share of Courtyards both nationwide and worldwide so I have a solid base for comparison. This is a smaller Courtayrd then most that offers clean quiet and well-appointed rooms. The restaurant area has been updated with the new cafė concept however the rooms have not been recently updated...
