did not plan on going here but the moment was right and we stopped and were pleasantly surprised. format is individual entree with salad/side dish/desert buffet. entrees are fresh and hot, the buffet is average.... the surprise is the service, everyone was friendly and helpful without being intrusive, a rarity in today's world

great place to have breakfast on a weekend morning! staff was friendly. for a buffet place it was really clean. food was cooked properly, my kids love the waffle station!

I usually enjoy Country Cookin'. It is fair food for a reasonable price. All you care to eat of the soup, salad, veggies, and desserts, with your choice of entrée. Not a bad deal. However, I have tried this location on two separate occasions and it was dismal! The service was awful and the bar was unkempt. I would even...

This is a redo of a former Denny's and the remodeling is great. The restaurant is always clean as are the rest rooms. You can get a good deal on the food bar, but the meat items are very inexpensive to add. The liver and onions is about as good as it gets. Always a favorite of mine.

Get there early if you want breakfast.. While driving back from DC it was late morning and we decided we wanted to stop off somewhere and get breakfast. We pulled off on the Plank Rd. exit in Fredericksburg and this place caught our eye so we decided to give it a try.
