Editorial reviews from the web (2)

It's an elegant yet cozy farmhouse restaurant that opened in 1928 as the Dutch Mill Inn and was acquired by namesake Mary McCrank in 1935. There are armchairs in the waiting parlor and fireplaces in some of the dining rooms. The chicken-and-dumplings Sunday night special is sublime; so are the dessert pies and homemade ice cream.

Offering excellent Greek fare with flair, with an added asset: You're in beautiful Tarpon Springs.

The Scene

Went to dinner here with a party of six. They only had two waitresses for the dining room. Service was slow. Tough to get drink refills. Our waitress was not very friendly either. Food was decent. Some of the fried food was cooked too long and had too much batter on it. Lamb Shank was good. Soup and salad selections...

It has taken me a couple of weeks to calm down enough, to say goodbye to a decade-long favorite. Yes, it was a spring break week in a tourist area and yes, it was a busy Saturday night dinner. None of that should matter, to a restaurant that has been in business as long as this one. We dined with...

We went to Costas Restaurant for a late lunch. My son had the Fried Calamari that were very good! I had the stuffed meatballs with pasta. The meatball were real good but the pasta was completely tasteless. My husband and I had the Sangria not the best, tasted more like fruit punch juice. Now we also had the fried cheese...
