The web site says you can rent pieces individually but conveniently leaves out the fact that there is a monthly minimum cost of $1000. You have to rent $1000 worth of stuff if you just need it for a month. (We wanted to rent a couch while we were trying to sell our house). Plus a huge cock roach crossed our path on the way out of the store.

At first I was impressed with Cort furniture rental because it was relatively inexpensive and had a good selection of products. Although, their customer service is AWFUL. This review probably won't help most DC-based Yelpers, but if you travel or move a lot, it might be good for you.
