Been eating here for many years. The menu has expanded a bit, but the dogs and burgers are still the best things to eat. Very delicious. Very inexpensive. The building is small and old. Could use fixing up, but it's just a dog joint, so it is what it is.

Good food at reasonable prices. Hotdogs have been served in Portsmouth at this very location for at least 50 years now. Originally known as Johnsons hotdogs, boughtout and renamed Copelands about 20 years ago. Hotdogs and buns are steamed. Good homemade BBQ everyday. You can not wrong when you go here and get a hot dog. It is alway fresh. The empolyees treat you like you are a regular customer. Hi highly recommend this place.
