I've been to plenty of bike shops and bought enough bikes and parts to know that Conte's is five star, all the way. Don't shop for a bike or think about service without considering them first.

Do not use this shop. I tend to read reviews and discount the bad ones while believing the good ones. Trust me, there are a ton of bad reviews for Conte's for a reason. Read on, my experience is actually pretty entertaining if it's not happening to you.

We have a Conte's in Virginia Beach, and so when I moved to Richmond recently I took my mountain bikes to a familiar name to get them tuned up and the brakes fixed. It was a terrible, terrible decision for several reasons.

First, my back hydraulic brake on my main bike had lost its stopping power, and so I got it bled when I took my 2...
