Entered the lobby to find a man getting a walk up rate less then what I got on-line. Not a good start, but with my rate I had a room if hotel was sold out. Staff was nice, not a lot of parking.

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed after reading reviews that this was the best hotel in Virginia, but regardless, easily one of the top 25 hotels I've ever stayed at, and I don't travel for business so I don't stay at many hotels. Was centrally located, easy to get to many local attractions, not too far from beach either! Breakfast was good, room was quiet - even the night all the teenagers stayed! Great for families with young children, indoor pool! Overall, really good stay for us!
