Horrible customer service I would highly advise everyone considering adoption not to adopt through the humane society. Business could be improved with better customer service and thorough examination of female dogs before sending them home and later finding out their pregnant!
I helped a friend adopt a dog from the shelter. He was located at Petsmart on Wadsworth through the humane society. The fee is suppose to include spay/neuter fees. When we decided to get him he was very matted. Petsmart said he was neutered and they could not clip him due to his stitches. We didn't see any but thought well they have a date neutered so surely he was. She took him to the vet at Petsmart and he indeed was never neutered. She called the clinic at the Humane Society who told her she would have to wait over a month to neuter him. She works in child care and could not have...
