By far the most interesting and mostly unknown lodging option in Williamsburg is to stay in a restored home, tavern or other structure in the colonial area. Especially for first-time visitors with children, staying in one of these homes for at least one night is worth the dearth of fancy accommodations. Rooms tend to have TVs and phones and grandmother-esque furnishings, but not much else ???...
I dined there when I visited Family and it was just wicked good food and service. the people made you feel like you were home . No Doubt TWO THUMBS UP ! ! ! ! ! ! !
