I have enjoyed living at Colonial Pines. They have provided a cozy and safe place for me and my children to live. We have lived their since April 2010 and feel so at home. The staff there is the best, they are a very supportive group and work very hard to keep everything running smoothly.

All the staff here is super helpful and friendly. The buildings are old, but they are always taken care of. I feel lucky to live so close to downtown, feel safe and cared about, and pay so little for rent! My experience is that Colonial Pines is a very pleasant place to live and a great value!

Issues with maintenance every other week; water continually shut off without notice because of 'water line breaks'; shoddy repair work. Staff is nice, but its not enough to make up for the headache of living here.

The managers are rude the walls are paper thin and the prices are way too high... Probably the worst place in Williamsburg to raise children and the appliances were broken when my sister had moved in... Thank god we were able to find another apartment down the road for her. Avoid going here at all costs!

I moved to Colonial Pines from a property where the landlord was nice, but incompetent. It is refreshing to live in a community where any issues that I may have are resolved quickly and quietly. The only concern that I have are the thin walls; however, having rented a house for the last year and a half, I know that my husband and I are more aware of the sounds around.
