This is a very peaceful place to visit. It is a huge peaceful, spacious park , lots of things to do if your like the simple things of life.
Like the chicken who crossed the road to see what was on the other side, we rode the free ferry from Jamestown see what was on the other side. Wow! What a surprise! Chippoke Plantation State Park!

The place is beautiful and the campsites are big and secluded. The swimming pool is HUGE and there is hidden river access along the bike trails. Great place to ride your bike because there are big hills that you can really catch some speed on. All of the rangers are really laid back and friendly as well.
