What the community has to say about Charlottesville KOA

Information about this business (1)

Thomas Jefferson's magnificent Monticello is a big draw here, and so is the woodsy Charlottesville KOA in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills, where dogwoods bloom in spring and hardwoods blaze with brilliant fall colors. It's just a half hour to Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway for stunning vistas, hiking trails, cave tours and waterfalls. KOA offers a combination ticket for a trio of...

Spent a week there with my wife. Great friendly clean place. Only problem I had was the WiFi was very slow and if you've got Verizon cell service, forget it. Verizon doesn't work there.

Customer service on the phone from a staff member was awful. Not very friendly and very unpersonable. I feel like at a campground you would want your guest to feel welcome and invited.

The Charlottesville KOA is in the Blue Ridge Mountain foothills, where dogwoods bloom in spring and hardwoods blaze with brilliant fall colors. KOA offers a combination ticket to a trio of historic sites: Monticello, Ash Lawn-Highland (home of James Monroe) and Michie Tavern, where costumed staff serve an 18th-century lunch.
