Went in late April and was thrilled to receive complimentary coffee before the restaurant opened. I was looking forward to walleye cakes to start my day, but had to settle for wild rice musli. Disgusting. Would rather have oatmeal. Breakfast buffet looked good - slightly expensive at sixteen dollars/person.

Large group of 25+ and what should have been a fun evening with our group turned into the worst kitchen disaster ever. From cold food, no food, dumped drinks on guests, not replacing dumped drinks, mixed up orders and more. Our server was overwhelmed by lack of assistance from management. Don't Miss the Breakfast Buffet

Charley's does a fantastic breakfast buffet - at least on the weekend. The made-to-order omelets were delicious, and the homemade granola was addicting. We also had dinner in the bar one night, and our salads and fish tacos were terrific.

I visited this restaurant on 3/11/16 for dinner while staying at the hotel. They have a good selection and the service was prompt and friendly. Our waitress, Sarah, was great. During our 3-night stay we had oatmeal and granola for breakfast - excellent. The cob salad was tasty, as was the flatbread with sausage. The only dish we did not care for was the wild rice soup. It was ordered around 8:30 p.m., and was pretty tasteless and thick and pasty. Maybe it was better earlier in the evening.
