I was an Computer Instructor for Centura College in VA Bch for 2 years. During my stay I received awards and commendations for my work with students and enhancing the curriculum. This school is truly a scam. They are getting students to get loans for school/college, but they are not teaching the students. Update from 10-2011

Since filing this report, the Director of the school, Antoinette Bennett has been fired as have several employees under her. In her place is the person who the corporate office placed in the school as a mole, Paula Bowen. Her job was to weed out the employees they felt were not doing their job and to make herself the Director, all of which she did. Slicker than Bennet, craftier as well, barely...

Working for this place was an exercise in futility. They push all the employees, especially admissions, to lie to the prospective students and tell them the certificates and "degrees" there will transfer or be recognized by employers. They won't. In fact, 95% of the students will be laughed at when they apply anywhere for anything and use the word "Centura" on their application. Admissions is...
