As an educator for 32 years, former gymnast, cheerleading coach, and part of a coaching family, I have great respect for teachers and coaches. There is no job more difficult than one which must deal with such varying ability levels of children. Adding to the burdens of coaching are parents who have higher than realistic expectations for their children.

My daughter is a competitive gymnast at Cedar Point, and we LOVE it here. We moved to the area last year, and have had a tremendous experience at Cedar Point. At our last gym in Virginia, the staff and coaches were extremely severe and rigid, to the point that the girls couldn't get through a single practice without crying. And this was a very highly respected gym that wins. They win because the girls are pushed to their absolute limit, but it wasn't fun. Cedar Point is wonderful. It's the perfect combination, where the girls learn AND enjoy doing it. My daughter is 7, and she loves...
