Although I absolutely love my big male cat that I adopted several years ago from Catnap.. he's the most amazing cat there ever was!! But I sadly have had issues with 2 different female cats from there.. one adopted at the same time as my boy, and the other we inherited from my uncle who passed away.. It's a great shelter where they let the cats walk about the shelter, allowing them to socialize with one another and greet visitors. The volunteers aided us in finding the perfect companion for us. If you are going on vacation and need a place to keep your pet, these people are wonderful. They treat animals very well and they are reasonably priced. They've watched my kitty and my bunny when I had to go away for more than a couple days. Excellent service.

Catnap from the Heart, located just outside of downtown La Grange, is a no-kill animal shelter and the perfect place for animal lovers. You can adopt or foster cats, birds, rabbits, and more, though cats are its primary focus.
