We loved our stay at Castle By The Sea! Great staff, great room, and great location! This is an older motel that has been nicely renovated - it's fun and nostalgic. The rooms are very clean and quite comfortable. The best was the lovely pool and patio - the kids loved the pool, great location to catch the evening sunset over the city.

Never saw any of staff. Motel was run down and in ill-repair (tile coming off wall, etc). Not worth writing about; would not recommend.

The location is good, but the rooms were run down, bathroom tiles missing, needs a lot of updating. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Caution no heater

Night temp. 50-60 degrees, no heater. Ageing facility, up keep was minimal. I am handicapped and couldn't access the beach from this hotel. Drove the car but couldn't find parking. We just left to another part of the city.
