My husband heard about a little doughnut shop in West Asheville called Hole. We thought the name was cute and our friends in Asheville are friends with the owner, so, of course, we had to check it out. Cute building located on Haywood and Wamboldt. This unobtrusive little building is located on the corner of Haywood Street and Wamboldt Avenue. The outside of the restaurant is very charming....

The Cocoa Run and Vanilla glazed donuts are by far the best creations for Hole. I wasn't a big fan of the Chai spiced flavored donut but in full disclosure, I have never been a Chai! If you love doughnuts try them, just don't expect krispy kreme and dunkin donuts selections or prices. Definitely will go back.

A small, unassuming building sits on the corner of Haywood Road and Wamboldt Avenue in West Asheville. It’s “Hole”, where you can now get “Hot Doughnuts and Fresh Coffee”. Owners Kim Dryden and Caroline Whatley opened to the public only two weeks ago, on Thursday, October 16th. Sweet Tooth and I were on a field trip, checking out Hole and another doughnut shop that’s recently opened in...
