Excellent! Great staff, no waiting, plenty of room at buffet, excellent food, attentive staff, could not ask for anything better.
Capt. Georges' is a wonderful seafod bufet restaurant. My husband and I have eaten at all the site in this area and at the Myrtle Beach site as well. We have a little disappointment in the peninsula site's decor, but the food is good.
I would love to see them offer discounts or coupons occassionally.
I've been to Captain George's many times...the only real let down is that they don't have any lobster...wait a minute...a seafood buffet and no lobster...I know that Custy's International in Connecticut has all the lobster you can eat on their buffet line...and yes, it's a bit more expensive...I also remember that Captain John's in Va Beach (related to Captain George's) used to have all you can eat lobster on Fridays. Come on...George...you can certainly come up with the lobster (Maine or otherwise).
Seafood lovers flock to the kid-friendly eatery for traditional Greek dishes, regional cuisine and fresh fish platters.
Never been disappointed at this location. The food was excellent. Everything was well prepared and looked great. More importantly the food was all excellent. So many choices. Our server was awesome. What we find here is that the entire staff was so friendly. From the...checking in till our departure the staff was gracious and friendly. Great job to the team. Also the general manager was leading...
Quantity doesn’t necessarily equal quality. you get tons of choices and options … it’s a huge buffet, but nothing was over the moon great. If I had to guess the food had been sitting out too long. You pay way tooo much money for the...quality you get. If u love to over eat and buffets it’s for you, but if you’re looking for quality seafood wouldn’t recommend.
Thanksgiving Buffet not to be missed. Your classic seafood items, crab legs alongside all the Thanksgiving day standards. Turkey, ham but also ribs and prime rib. The collard greens and stuffing were some of the best I have ever eaten. All was good. Nice staff...(shout out to Alex! He was great!) and 843 seats means not too much waiting. $49.99 per person but well worth it. Great!
A local told us about this place and we were so glad they did! The crab legs were plentiful, the fried scallops were so good, and there were so many items to choose from! Attentive server kept our drinks filled and our plates cleared so...we could go back for more!
Good food. Excellent service. Except the price $ is too high. There were -10-people in our group. For -2- people it was $135.
