A small place in a strip mall that has a few table for eat in dining also serving take out orders. Atmosphere is missing but the food is quite good, quickly prepared and portions large. Best Chinese food around. Clean place to eat or take out. Worth the drive from Edenton or Elizabeth City. Always freshly cooked and I have never had a bad meal in 5 years.

Surprisgingly great Asian food for this area

Considering that this is a relatively rural area, Hing Ming offers unsually excellent Asian food. Must be the cooks!
However, don't expect excellent decor. It's a small hole in th wall in a small strip mall on Rte 17 near the Hertford, NC intersection. It's mainly a carry-out place with a few tables for eating in.
