A few blocks from the U.S. Capitol, this New England–tinged steak house became a favorite among Republican congressmen during the heyday of fallen super-lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Award-winning steaks and first class service make for a four-star dining experience.

In Short
Richness and warmth radiate from the plush leather seating and mahogany trim. Whether patrons prefer the filet mignon or a 24-ounce porterhouse, the dry-aged beef is guaranteed...

Good Steak and Mystique, Way Overpriced

I certainly had a good New York Strip Steak and I loved that it was across from the Newseum. But I spent about $50 on lunch without ordering a drink and while the steak was good, it was not among the best I ever had....

It is hard to beat the Capital Grill for food choice and food quality. The fillets were perfectly prepared, the drinks generous and the service impeccable. Oysters were excellent and even the Lobster Mac and Cheese was a favorite. The coconut cream pie with caramel...
