Help us make it rightAlthough, I enjoy luxury hotels, this hotel wasn't bad for a standard hotel; it was spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful with restaurants and things to do. The parking was very tight. We had to climb two level flight of stairs for our room, which wasn't that bad. There is elevators on the other side though. The room was very clean with plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable...
Stay anywhere, but don't stay there! While the staff were friendly and fairly helpful, the cabin which we stayed in was crawling with ants: the kitchen counters, sink, cabinets, floors bathroom and even the beds!
Worse were the patches of black rot on the walls: Hopefully this wasn't black mold. The beds were hard and the room is the size of an RV bedroom. The futon/couch was uncomfortable...
Lousy deal. 2nd visit made it two-for-two being woken up by a fire alarm (the loudest I've ever heard--even outside). Beds were wrapped in rubber sheets and old and lumpy too. Even through the sheets, the rubber decreased comfort and was VERY noisy which aside from disturbing others will also disturb your own sleep. The beach was "red flagged" by simple winds; Uncle Sam doesn't really...
If your comming here, at least bring a comfortable pillow...your gonna need it to take away from the hard matresses. The housekeepers are rude and lazy....they act like your bothering them....they want to get paid but don't actually want to be bothered.... the carpet is so old you get an awful lot of carpet tacks in the feet if you don't wear your shoes while your inside....however, It is a...
The cost was about $117 and the room was ok, nothing special and the view of the Atlantic was great. I didn't like the so called housekeeping because that wasn't what it was. Changing towels is not housekeeping and they did make the bed. They did not vacuum and did not clean the bathroom. I called to ask about it, they don't do it. So I said well why don't you at least have cleaning...
