Friendly Staff - Start of a Great Family Weekend at Texas State!

I have never stayed at Candlewood Suites and frankly would not have chosen it, but it was Family Weekend at Texas State University, everything was booked, this hotel had a few rooms left and I got what I could. Horrible experience

This was one of the worst experiences I've had in a LONG time. Trash left by occupants and staff both was in the halls for DAYS until I complained. The elevator broke and was never repaired. The internet went out the 2nd day of a 5 day conference that I was there for and was never repaired. Not much about this place

Elevator was broke and they put me in the third floor. Side door did not work so had to walk around to the front. I’ve maker in fridge did not work. Bed sheets felt like cardboard. Furniture was old annd tore up. Internet was down but that part was not their part. Was not recognized as a platinum member

Nice Hotel, Nice Location

This is one of the few hotels that actually understands the term "suite." Their suites are really suites, as apposed to one big room with a partial room divider. When you're traveling with adult children, you want and need that. Fairly new, very clean, with a large kitchen.
