Clean and comfortable with great workspace, but no real breakfast

Spacious functional room with well-equipped kitchen, great work space and a very comfortable bed. Nice and clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Good setting, with small lake at back.
However, not so good for short stays compared to real hotels. Only weekly room service. At the high price for short-stay guests, it would be fairer to include a continental breakfast...

I'd never stayed at a Candlewood before, but I went to Hampton, VA with my wife for a weekend and we were very happy with it. The room wasn't cramped like some hotel rooms. It had a kitchen (almost full sized frig, microwave, stove top, dishes, plates, bowls, pots, dishwasher) which surprised us. The refrigerator's ice maker wasn't working, but...

Super polite and friendly staff, nice property, your own well-equipped kitchen, on-site "market", free laundry, exercise equipment, and a quiet location.
Oh...and it's half to 2/3's the cost of an (also nice) Hampton Inn.
