LEASE: Make sure you read the lease carefully. Ask about all deposits and fees and what happens to them once you move out and your lease is up. Write the answers down and have someone with you as witness. If the answers are not in the lease then ask them to add it. CARPETS: If you are not sure if the carpet is new ask for the receipt from carpet company (there isn't one) showing when it was installed. Your absolutely right about this place Im going through the same thing right now.... My car was broken into right in front of the building Im living in plus its all kinds of bugs in my apartment, every time it rains the windows leak, my front door has a inch and a half gap where you can see the lights out side the door when its dark outside this place looks nice...
