As a secret shopper I must admit I was totally surprised to find a cake designer of this caliber tucked away in Williamsburg, VA. The quality and detail that was given to my order was breathtaking. This operator is clearly gifted and knowledgeable. One taste and you’ll be convinced.
(The Mickey Mouse Cake is my actual order. All others were found on the business website).
I hired this baker for a baby shower, I mistakenly trusted she would do good work so I also prepaid for my daughter's first birthday several months later on. The baby shower order was a disaster, the cupcakes were dry and not at all decorated as I had requested. The order was sloppy and looked like it was decorated by a child, not at all what you would expect from a so called professional baker! She was not willing to grant a refund on my future order for my daughter's birthday even though I had a legitimate bad experience and she had done no planning or work on my future order. I would never recommend this baker to anyone!
During the process of picking the cake, Tawanda was very nice and helpful, so I figured everything was going to be perfect with the cake. Come the wedding day, my husband was there when it was delivered and he told her it was lopsided and she yelled at him and said once it's set up she doesn't touch it again...
Tawanda designed my daughter's 1st birthday cake . It was unique, sassy and perfect for my little diva. I will definitely be returning for more of her delicious creations!
OMG, we designed it and yes she created it. I've seen the cakes on MTV's sweet 16 and didn't have 300 to 400 guest like they do but it sure felt good having a cake that looked like it belonged on the show. We got to pick out different flavors for the layers, with added fruit fillings too.
