Review: Cafe Magnolia

Forty years ago, Louisville's Waterfront Park was an industrial wasteland covered with scrap. The green reaches of the Great Lawn were a sand pit. Freedom Hall was home not only to University of Louisville basketball, but to the old ABA Kentucky Colonels.

Great chicken tenders and derby pie. Highly recommend the pie! Blessed that she seated us in the corner so we could talk business.

Food was acceptable, but not something we would recommend as savory. Waitress was friendly, but slow, and had to be prompted for drink refills. Restaurant was not busy as it was the middle of the afternoon. For a good lunch go elsewhere

Good selection and fast service. Pancakes are not recommended.
Eggs Benedict was yummy.
