Always Excellent

Been here many times for lunch. This time we went for dinner. Food was fabulous. Loved trying local farm foods. The cheese and honey were amazing. Service was friendly and accommodating. They were out of one of our choices for an appetizer, which they apologized for and offered us another choice on the house. If we lived closer we would...

Great local food cooked to perfection

Every time we come to have lunch or dinner it is a real treat. The menu has local grass fed meats, local diary cheeses and amazing fresh wild fish. The food always has many options and cook to perfection. The best are the carrots. The owners are a brother and sister and with the staff they make sure everyone is...

The beer list includes Virginia-brewed selections and will certainly be appreciated by fans of "hoppy" beers.

Oysters on the half shell, aged steaks, organic cheese plates, scallops, all with matching wine. Sounds like fine dinning. It is! Just not in a fancy schmancy restaurant.
Walk in most anytime without reservations. Unpretentious surroundings and furniture make this feel like a typical down the street restaurant. But the excellent food and excellent service let you know you are...
