I went to Burton for a rather small paint service - 3 spots that needed repainting. The price was just a bit less than other reputable dealers in the area. This was the first paint job on a rather new, 2008, Lexus with a factory paint surface. Four quarter panels were repainted and clear coating was applied. After I got home I noticed A LOT of dust or hair spots under the clear coat ... they were everywhere! I notified Burton's (Jason) and they agreed and told me that it was an easy fix to wet sand and that should clear everything up. It got rid of most of the dust spots but there's still quite a few. Jason said there was nothing they could do for the remaining (how about repaint? and get a good clean shop with a monster fan?). I'm not too happy about this because I now have quite a few dust spots that were never there to begin with.
If you want your vehicle fixed right, take it somewhere else. This shop will do the bare minimum to repair the vehicle. My van was hit in the passenger door and front fender. The gap between the fender and door is not consistent at all. One of the repair panels they installed is loose. I said something about this and was told "that's just the way it is", even though the other side is tight. They installed a used damaged door and didn't even bother to fix the minor dents in it. I also have paint over spray on the headlight assembly and bumper. I normally wouldn't accept this poor quality...
Had a major repair done about 4 months ago. The office stall was courteous, the repair was timely and the paint work was phenomenal.. I have had work done at other auto body shops in town and bar none Burton's is the best in Richmond. Highly recommended.
They restored my wrecked Dodge Viper back to and better than the factory! I was not able to idenify where it was damaged or repaired. They stayed in contact and updated me with the progress of repairs weekly and also coordinated?
