This is definitely not a place to favor. I chose to stay two nights because of its proximity to the UVa campus, but in future I'll stay farther away. The room is small, the bathroom tiny, and little things - like a towel rack in the bathroom - are absent. The bed sports a mattress topper that is too short...

It's CLEAN, CHEAP, and SAFE.....but there's a catch

I needed a simple overnight stay for a quick business trip to the University of Virginia. I just wanted "4 walls and a bed" that is CHEAP, CLEAN, and SAFE. I knew I would get in late and get up early, so I didn't care about TV, pools, breakfast, gymnasiums, etc. I wanted bare bones basics that would be low...

Close to UVA and a great value for Charlottesville

This facility was clean and well run. They provide a hot breakfast. There are laundry facilities, soda machines and ice. Business office offers computers and internet. Hard to find a better value in Charlottesville.

Clean, easy to get to, only couple floors, decent for the money and soccer games going on in back. Nestled in pretty UVA college town. Great walking. Traffic noise in front of hotel. Breakfast--a lot of different items. Internet very slow and was hard to stay on-line. Problem I could hear guests flushing toilets and I guess it was pipes making banging noise inside my room. On the Friday of my stay, other guests arrived with cases of beer and party equipment and checked into rooms next to and above me. Loud music via microphones, shouting, and drinking began at 10AM and continued until I checked out the next morning. People smoked and talked all night outside of my room.
