In ShortJust a few miles from downtown Austin is this locally beloved farm run by husband-and-wife team Larry Butler and Carol Ann Sayle. The farmhouse itself was built circa 1840 and unlike most homes of the time, it's a Greek Revival. Chose from Central Texas' best seasonal treasures grown right on the farm. Larry's Smoke-dried Tomato products, featured on the Food Network, are available seasonally and often sell out, in addition to his jams and sauces.
Not only is Boggy Creek Farm a must for fresh, organically-grown produce but great for a relaxing stroll around the garden and hen house. Larry and Carol Ann are always on hand and eager to talk to their customers. If you haven't been, you should go. They have created an oasis in the heart of Austin. Bring the whole family.
