Help us make it rightReal, authentic German food in historic Petersburg. Everything I've had there has been great. Make sure you try the red cabbage!
Just like back in Germany. This is not fast food. It is hand prepared and takes a little while. Real German beer and authentic dishes make this one of my favorite restaurants. Wish they were open more than three days a week.

A very disgruntled and vicious owner of another restaurant in Petersburg has taken delight in telling everyone she can that the Black Swan is no longer in business. She has also told many stories about the owners and staff that are untrue.

If going for dinner, Reservations are definitely suggested. They have many menu selections - great choices but the portions are a bit skimpy (especially for the price). Would suggest you try them for lunch at first - look over the dinner menu and see if you want to return another time. But either way - do order a German beer...
Loved everything I tried. As authentic as you can get outside of Germany. Large dinner portions, OK lunch portions. Loved the German beer on tap. This is not fast food.
