We visited Bistro 27 early on a Saturday evening before the dinner rush had really begun. Our waiter, Erik, was friendly and very helpful in making just the right pairing of entres and wines. He also gave suggestions for places of interest to visit in the Richmond area. The food was excellent and we'll be back.
The food was exceptional, layers of flavors, sides were paired well, plate presentation was very good, exceptional staff, friendly.
This beautiful, big-windowed, corner restaurant must have been around a while. The details are unnecessary, but the ages show a little bit. The food was very good however, and the portions sizeable. The cauliflower soup was flavorful, and the scallops were well cooked. The ravioli was beautiful and tasty.

Went to Bistro 27 last night after the food and wine expo. Service was excellent. We were remembered and greeted with a hug. All 3 courses were fabulous. Escargot, salmon, scallops - all made to perfection.
