One of my favorite neighborhood bars in Austin, or anywhere for that matter. Great beer selection, including a never ending tap of Hans' Pils, and some superb burgers. My favorite, the Cobra Burger, predates the #austincobra by many years.

"Neighborhood bar" in Rosedale with solid burgers and other American eats served with "refreshing, local" beers in a space that evokes "1970s Austin"; TVs tuned to the game plus an arcade room and a pool table increase the "fun."
Although happy hour is officially 2pm-7pm Monday through Friday, the 4 o'clock hour is the "happiest hour" at Billy's, offering up $1 domestic pints and $2 premium pints.
Daily lunch specials offer quick service for just a few dollars. Three popular days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday when fried catfish with fries makes the menu.
