Pepper Davis is one of the best counselors I've come across. Unfortunately I have left the Phoenix area, but I still recommend her to those relatives and friends that need guidance.

Odd place, heavy sauces

This is an old, long-established chain that served me good quality meat with a too sweet sauce that killed the taste. The brisket was covered in a BBQ sauce to the extent that the latter took over. Average sandwich not worth the price

Wanted to eat in a local place rather than the usual chain restaurants while on our trip. The menu had a good variety and it is a BBQ place so maybe ordering something else wasn't a good idea. The sandwich was boring with little cheese and tasteless turkey. The ham was tasty but not much of it. Husband's patty melt...
