This hotel and location is great! The beach is right behind the hotel like it's your private beach. Not crowded like VA Beach. You get the same water for a better experience. I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel... being an older hotel it was exceedingly well maintained and clean. Being right on the beach this is no easy feat! The beach is just steps from the hotel. It was wonderful. Very clean room and the kitchen saved us so much money. The breakfast was so much food and the women who prepped the food were so sweet. We did enjoy our stay on the beach and will definitely stay again. The pool hours were long enough to really enjoy the beach side pool and was very clean also. We can't wait to go back. Shop the rates on this one ....if you get it cheap it is definitely worth it. It is the best of the hotels on this bay strip. My only complaint was that the ice machine was broken. ...
