Review: Bendoya Sushi Bar

It's a wonderful problem to have: New downtown lunch spots are opening so rapidly that in my capacity as a hired fork I'm hard-pressed to cover them all. And the best part is that the restaurants opening up are largely ethnic, so there's a great variety of new food available.

We had gone for their Lunch special 2 for 1, the sushi was fresh and really good, it was slow but the service was mediocre. But will defiantly go back for the food.

Best sushi in town! I always call the order in, and pick it up. It is always packed in there from 11-2!

Slow service. I came in today at 11am and ordered at 11:10, got my food at 12pm, and got my check at 12:20. All of the carry out orders were able to be picked up though.

Simply delicious. The owner/sushi chef and his family are delightful and genuinely nice people. In my humble opinion, the Tokyo Roll is the best sushi I have ever eaten. I frequent Bendoya regularly and recommend it highly.

If you're looking for a nice sushi lunch downtown, Bendoya's got you covered. A full menu of every kind of exotic sushi, sashimi, roe, hand rolls and all sorts of seafood will have you struggling to make a decision. It's a small restaurant, but they do offer carry out and delivery.
