Beckys started to turn around the beginning of this year, but for the past several months we can't seem to get a decent meal out of this place. Wrong orders, poorly cooked food, unavailable menu items. We used to go daily to lunch here, but after the latest incidents, we will not be returning.

On a recent visit to Richmond, we purposely seeked out Beckys because they touted themselves the "best breakfast in Richmond". What a mistake! My husband ordered the sausage gravy biscuits. The biscuits tasted store bought and were hard, the gravy was greasy and tasted like flour ..and where was the sausage?! My eggs were cold and overcooked, they were "out of sausage", so I settled for two...

Yes, Beckys has been around forever and was once a fantastic restaurant I frequented daily. Since the ownership change a couple of years ago, it had gone straight downhill. The food is poor quality and often items aren't available, some of the waitstaff are wonderful while others can be uncomfortable at best, and the restaurant in general is dirty. The staff at Becky's was the friendliest that I have experienced in a long time. The food was great and the service was fast. I recommend it.
