Was so very sorry to see this restaurant close, really enjoyed the "Local" feel, often saw the same people eating there. Was a favorite of mine for lunch. Food was good and the owner often waited on me and was there to make certain that everything was the way you wanted. Really miss it.

This was my grandmother's favorite lunch spot for years. Now it's where I take my mom for a comfort lunch. You can't beat an owner-operator restaurant. The food's good (the homemade cole slaw's my top choice of sides) and the service is great -- they get to know you fast and they remember you even when it's been a while...

Found this little place by accident in a shopping mall not far from the Virginia beach. We had driven out to 'Citrus' a nearby breakfast place (well reviewed) but were turned away by the crowds.
